    Well... jokes, for a common ritual that doesn't really have much meaning beyond being something people do, are okay. She laughs at those. I almost think pun wars could be considered a ritual in and of themselves. Goddesses need to laugh too  :P

    But... you don't insult a goddess, ritual or not. Especially if you're in your right mind and are doing it for the lulz.

    But the great thing about Inari is that she's still willing to accept us even so. Everybody makes mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes are worse than other times  fox_thoughtful

    So... still, don't worry about it. Apologize. Let yourself forgive yourself, because I'm quite sure She forgives you. And then... well... you can look back on it and laugh... because as hurtful as the insult might have been, it WAS funny, I'm sure.  :D
