Well hello to all of you who will  welcome me warmly or just as you normally welcome a newbie.  fox_thoughtful I'm just another kitsune to add to this ever expanding den . I suppose a bit of history would explain things ne? Well i am a kitsune, and honestly i know I'm human, but i don't spiritually feel "normal" even if normal isn't normal anymore. To further explain, throughout the years of searching spiritually and even physically, i can't really relate to others nor do i seem to fit in, but i often stand out. I've been able to feel, and manipulate energy a lot better, I'm able to heal myself in a short amount of time, and I've been drawn to any sort of half-animal character or entity. I served Inari 3 years ago but my experience with her was rather enjoyable even if it did end on a sort of sour note. When i followed her, everything felt easier, more natural, and i was constantly in thought about what i spiritually was rather than who i chose to follow. I used to ask her what i was often, and I'd get the feeling of "I'll let you figure that one out" from her, but I'm glad that she didn't tell me or else i wouldn't be where i am today. Like some, I've never felt phantom limbs and what have you, but more often than not, I've always had this nagging feeling of being a fox but i constantly shrugged it off and i still do it sometimes. The more i followed her, the more i learned, and the more i learned about myself. Spiritually I've always seen myself as spiritually shifting anywhere from a dragon, to a kitsune, and in between the two forms. I've heard about there being a possible link between the two, but i really haven't looked much into.  Nerdy Huh? Constantly following Inari for a short while, awakened me to a point where i could either deny that i was something other than just spirit, or just fall into the collective pool of confusion.

Anyhow, i know this intro seems a bit long winded like I'm talking to hear myself talk. To sum this all up quickly, after following Inari and then falling away because i betrayed her (you do not insult inari during a ritual even if it was funny :D) Anyhow, after meditation and searching for a good 4 1/2 years now, I've basically just stuck with being an elemental kitsune. The element I'm from would be Earth, and I've noticed that i draw most of my energy for whatever  from the earth itself. As far as tails go, i have at least 2, but in this as of late I've only "felt" 1. You'll find me to be a very intelligent, funny, caring, and somewhat off the walls kitsune. Oh and trust me, those are good things. And one more thing, if you have any questions about me, feel free to ask, and I'll honestly answer them. As an added bonus, for some apparent reason when arrogant people irk my nerve IRL i tend to babble coherent japanese and i don't really speak japanese.

I'm pretty sure i will and thanks for the welcome.  Smiley . Honestly as of late, considering earth being my main element, I've also discovered that i also have strange dragon tendencies while focusing on the kitsune part of myself. This is going to turn out great as far as i can tell.

I'm in no way normal, for now at least.  :D

I don't really know much about kitsune, but I've read enough about us to be knowledgeable as i tend to go off playing music or writing poetry.  I feel like I'm boring the rest of the forum by talking non-stop. lol i hope not.

No worries if users didn't want to read your intro posts then they wouldn't have clicked! 'sides you should see my intro thread x"D Just massive wall texts errywhere... *shrugs*

My gods! These forumers! They're just immune to wall texts! Le gasp! Oh nuooooo! D: THEY'RE NOT HUMAN! What will we do?!!?!?!

*coughs* On a slightly serious-er note, greetings Chi! 's nice to not be the newest one around here ;D

This forum is taking some mystical connection between dragons and kitsune to the bank, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear about the your spiritual dragon-ness shifting.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your experiences with Inari, if you care to share.

What sort of Japanese do you ramble out? Do you hear Japanese at all in any media, tv shows, music etc. Any audio experience with being around Japanese? Perhaps you're retaining and reciting it back later...

Ps. It's not "Valerie". No "i" please. If you add an "i" I get a strong urge to stab you in the left eye, rip it out completely then play with it. If you do not have a left eye, I can settle for the right one.

Hahaha, there is a lot that i could actually say about all of this and since you've asked i will be more than happy to address you. It certainly is nice not to be the new one around here, even for the both of us. Smiley

    Inari
-The fair lady that i used to serve a long while ago, such a sweetheart she was, always treating me with kindness, and leaving gifts for me wherever i'd go. Well to tell you the truth, i really did love her as a teacher and as a guide. She was always insightful even if i didn't get the answer that i'd most hoped for. Now for the fun parts. When i used to follow our dear lady, i got into all kinds of shenanigans actually. I remember one day dedicating the top of my black oak and pewter handled dresser to her, i placed a turtle with its legs all broken off, golden coins inside of a red jar, walnuts and other things in a white one, and most important of all, i made a make shift Torii gate with japanese kanji for kitsune and gate. I've had my share of bad experiences and my most vivid was having a dream about a nogitsune wearing a green hoodie in my dreams yelling at kids (nogitsune cubs?) running amuck. He called me over and apologized for their rambuncious habits but i didn't mind. He sort of smiled at me and things went on from there. Nogitsune aren't all bad. :D I asked Inari one night about letting snap a photo of one of her kitsune, i think it sort of worked because this tiny triangular head appear in one of my pictures unexpected and if you zoom in on it. you'll see a very disgruntled or confused little face. You might like this one. I had a dream where i was with a kitsune and he was stealing his starball back and he wanted me to help him.  The poor little kitsune was depressed but had come to me in a dream. I agreed and go into all this mess of running away from this black cloud of energy and finally escaping with the starball in hand. He handed it to me and after holding it, i remember my body shifting into a brown furred and black pawed kitsune and woke up hungry. Smiley And my sad end with Lady Inari was when i was so frustrated with her one day, don't really remember the cause, but i remember openly telling her wherever she was. "you're worthless now, and you'll always be worthless" but soon after i felt horrible. As of late i've felt a kitsune prescence every now and again, but its more like "i still love you" kind of  thing. And that is all i really remember from following her.

As for hearing japanese in media, i don't really get to watch much anime but i did a while ago maybe 4 months. I've always thought about that, but i've ruled it out. Hahah, as for what i've said i don't really remember but i'm either always joking or serious, but much more lately i've been joking around and constantly sarcastic. Normal for kitsune ne? You're actually a very insightful kitsune if i do say so myself, i do think we'll become very good friends somewhere down the road of life's spiral. Hahah. Well thats about all i can say at this point in time, if you have anything specific you'd like to know feel free to ask here or pm me. I'm an open book here.  :P

Very interesting! It was great of you to share all of this with me ^^ And I'm sorry to hear about the end. But, it doesn't have to be the end for good! Perhaps she'll accept your apologizes and you'll serve her again in time. It's a good sign if she still appears and you feel her love.

Do you still have that drawer shrine btw?

Eh? You think I'm insightful? *tilts head* Why? I really haven't acted in any sort of manner other than foolish and friendly... ;p

I think we'll be on good speaking terms at least. I do not see any problems with any of my kin here, including yourself Chi.

Many kitsune seem to have their own personal story with Inari. Mine mostly was returning back to Inari in this lifetime.

Though I've seen a couple that have had a falling out with Inari. The good news is she will accept anyone back as she is always watching still Wink.

Welcome. I'm Shiroune. As far as I know, I have no relation to Inari but I find her a very interesting topic to read about. Whatever you have to tell about her, I'd be happy to learn^^

@Valere: Well to me you are quite the insight kitsune if i do say so myself. Sometimes being a foolish and friendly kitsune is the way to go sometimes, no need to be super serious all the time, And i sort of do have it but the torii gate is gone, but the jars, turtle and other things still are there. I've placed a thick leather bound book, 2 giraffes and a dragon statue on it now lol. I'm pretty sure Inari is trying to call me back, slowly but surely. As of late her name has crossed my mind and my lips, it's been weird, but i don't think it'll be so soon. Good speaking terms it is  fox_okay

@Hazuko: I've always known Inari to be the serious, loving, and just out there kind of guide. Yeah i did have a falling out with her, but i felt she knew i didn't mean it, but allowed me to part ways with her. At this point in time, I'm seen as sort of a nogitsune to her, though i do not follow her, she knows that i still have great interest in her. Getting back to Inari in this life time eh? Sounds like fun. Have you encountered any problems with that? (silly question)

@Shiroune: Thats about how i feel right about now, but I've discovered so much about her personally that I'd be willing to share interesting things with you if you'd like. Heres a tip though. Inari does adore little red ceramic bells. Her kitsune often used to have fun ringing it whenever they happen to come by. Not often though. It was used to surprise me -___- not really amusing. Smiley
