     Huh?
This is something that somehow came to my mind lately.
Like Evans telling me of ancient knowledge, or somethinge I'm supposed to know.
Maybe it's simply an explanation, or another way to look at it.
I'll simply share it and have your thoughts.
     fox_okay

    Foxters.
    Those who would be foxes.
Inevtiably set upon the path of vulpinity, it is their fate to either fully become foxes or die trying.
They shall seize whatever chance they see, for it is their nature to try and complete the change that has begun.
However, should no such chance occur over a prolonged period of time, a foxter will almost surely fall into depression and despair, eventually resulting in its demise.
There are many examples of this regrettable case occuring in sealed worlds, where the seed of vulpinity can take root and sprout in people's harts making them foxters, but where there is no actual chance of them ever becoming full foxes so long as the seal holds.
There are some occasions of individuals blessed with "hope" or those who find somone or something so dear as to soothe the pain or at the very least provide sufficient distraction.
However, such occasions are rather rare and far between, thus making the fate of a foxter look bleak indeed in those worlds.
However, no matter how bleak, a foxter will never revert back to its original self, even if the cost is as dear as life itself, for vulpinity has become a cherished part of it, more valuable than anything else.
Thus is the fate of those who would be foxes.
A wonderous road leading to a vulpine future, but dear is the price of failure.
But that is how it is.

     Such a bleak definition...

     ...lonely...

At the point, this could also be self-reflective, as well as societally directed.: The society being us.

Could any one of us be wrapped in this definition? Yes. As it is, every one here could be defined as a 'Foster'; each of us for our own reasons.

However, something I'd like for all to take into great care and consideration before looking upon this with either negativity or a positive aptitude for application.

Kitsune themselves should not look upon themselves with such a negativity. Kitsune are creture certain of themselves, even if they are amidst their own paths of self-discovery, as any living and consious being. Positive mindsets should be maintained while long foresights guide our way and deep insights set into stone what we want to believe about ourselves.

Past the negativity, we should look on this favorably as a test and testament to who we are, and what we could become if we don't test ourselves regularly. Testing our personal virtues along the way is often a halmark of true wisdom. To be able to test yourself and surpass such a boundary of personal reflection is a benchmark of personal conviction. Such a test given to the masses should be cherrished.

Kira... Thank you for this. It's a beautifull addition to the tests of the self.

In the end, this isn't about succeeding or failing, as to add definition to ourselves only limmits us n what we are, but can also free us to be what we want. The reward of this test is conviction. The price of said failure is in not knowing the self. The is the Prize, or the payment.

     Huh?
As I said, it simply came to mind.
...and I really didin't think of negativity.
More like that was just tha way it is, or something.
