Hello all! I have been away from the community for a few years and kinda...lost my self and fell into a dark place.  But now I have returned home amongst my own kind after some soul searching and found myself drawn here.

I am not completely sure where to start so...here it goes.

My name is Keith and I am a 25 year old human body from Houston, Tx. I found my fox self back when I was 16 as I just felt...drawn to the creature and felt like one. Ever since I was 5 years old I used to walk on my tiptoes, pretending I had digit-grade legs. It took me a bit of research to actually learn what a kitsune IS and then I felt an affinity toward them, feeling myself to be one. Even to this day, after having gone through a very dark and nihilistic period in my life, I find my self reattuned to my kitsune self and to Inari.

After some soul-searching an meditation, I once again can feel tails behind me, fur on my skin and some inner warmth and glow. I am not sure what it all means...but I know it has to be a good thing.

I have come here to talk to others like me and be with my own kind and reaffirm my faith and find myself. So far so good.

Well that's all I have to say for now, but I am an open book to please feel  free to ask me anything and I will be glad to answer your questions ^^

    Hello there. Welcome.

I was looking up as I was walking home and just realized how... huge everything is, everything but us, we're so small. But yet... I could almost feel it, the spark of life, the thread of fate, a bit of electric sizzle in the stars. I was reminded of death, and thereby of life. I felt alive. I think maybe, if I can just feel that for a moment every now and then, anything else that happens to me is O.K.

The fox hides when it senses danger approaching.
I don't want to see you, or any of your aspects retreat, and through it may be a sore subject, I'd like to ask you about that dark period, If for no other reason then to help prevent it in yourself and others in the future.
