I recently learned that my human ancestry is mainly Russian Cossack fox_okay so i got curious and looked for Russian folktales about foxes. I've only found one so far:

    Discussion! Smiley

What do you think of this Russian folktale?

My pursuit is rude and crude, the questions blunt, the finesse insulting, but it is the only way I know.

To those who know more than I, I hope you excuse my boldness, and to those who know less, I hope you follow in my example.

If you want to see the complete set of Russian fox lore, have the whole set on FA already, and slowly posting the rest over to DA as well.

Kitsune Archives is the name of the group. You can find the appropriate links on my profiles. This indeed was the first story that related to a fox for a total of 15 stories. There may be more I missed in there though.

IF people want, I will cross post them here as well ^^>.

    Moral of the story:

When someone is carrying you in their mouth, don't start a conversation

    2nd moral:

When a fox offers to help and asks for butter, make sure you give him bread too!
