    A light fox, hmm?
     Wink
    Well, I'm one of darkness.
Wind's nice too, and connected with light as well. They coexist in this world without barring one another's path, like earth would.

Hello. Welcome to Kitsuhana forums, I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I don't really know anything about clans as I'm not in one, and I'm not that keen on asking, but I'll listen if you'd like to give some background on it.

As for myself, My main element is wind as well, though I'm more attuned to darkness than light.

My name is Tsukos. I have no idea if that means anything special in any language. I just felt drawn to it after I realized it's an online handle nobody uses.   Smiley

    Hello and welcome to kitsuhana..
     Smiley

So, a wind user huh? I use wind quite frequently (my main is lightning) as well. Don't have any preference to light or dark though, I just do what I think is best. I'm not in a clan, though not many lightning users generally are.  fox_awake

Pretty adamant about your skype, aren't you?
     Huh?
    Mya, I don't thinks so.
Skype must be the one messenger that Pidgin doesn't support, and I feel more comfortable with I'm than with voice anyway.

No offense, but i don't use Skype and I'm not going to get it to talk to just one person.

I don't see why things can't be discussed here.

Slow is good.  Smiley  It gives one a chance to think through things before posting.

Welcome to the forum. ^_^  People use various element systems, so just saying "light" can be fairly misleading.  Is that like holy, good, fire, photons, the electromagnetic spectrum, something else or some combination of related concepts?
Forgive me if I ask too many questions.  :P  I'm just curious.

     Huh?
The light that slices through shadow and makes it draw sharp and soft edges alike on the ground.
Light is as much of a weapon as shadow is a shield.
And shadow goes whichever way light doesn't look.
     :P
But I like the duality that twilight brings, like in evenings or mornings, or when it's overcast.

To me, Light and Fire are the same thing, or at least so closely related as to have no practical difference. Everything that brings light to the world is also ultimately fire, whether it be in the form of flames, electricity, a blazing ball of gas a billion miles away, or the fire that lives in the hearts of all life, Light is Fire, and Fire is Light.

Water and Earth both have aspects of darkness. being primarily wind, I'm closer to water than fire.

There's a post that explains my personal elemental system in greater detail:

heloo Kikobi  Smiley Nice to see you here, too..

While I do believe that kitsune can be elementally aligned (as I to fire and water), I'm not sure about the concept of elemental clans... or for that matter any kind of clans.   I just haven't seen much evidence of it in literature outside an RP environment.

And while I'm one of the first ones to say 'you know the literary evidence should not be used as a guide to kitsune, as it can be very one sided and often one person's account, at best, and total fiction at worst...'  I also haven't seen any evidence that kitsune gather in clans according to element.

I also don't think we should start.  It would create divisions where we could use a little unity... and if we have been, maybe we should stop ..
