Heya, my name is Sam, I'm not particularly new to the whole esoteric world of otherkin and therianthropy but I always feel it.
I'm a fox therian/otherkin (not sure which yet) from England interested in languages and martial arts and maybe finding some like-minded people to talk to about things I'd otherwise be reluctant to mention.

I've never really shared any special love for foxes and to be honest I even have a neutral view on fox hunting -which I think might be a sensitive issue here so if it offends anyone I do apologize. I am just sure that my thereotype is a fox -that much is obvious to me although I'm not quite sure whether the fox might be a typical garden variety fox, or a kitsune with more than its fair share of tails...
As a side note, may I also mention that I share the same kind of spectral colour-blindness that most other dogs and foxes have! Cool huh? 

I don't feel that I am myself a fox; I just feel that I share space with one of them or that it is always in contact with me. It gives me confidence to do things I wouldn't otherwise even attempt, I feel I can give the fox access to my body and it helps partially control me in these situations... which sounds really odd but I've just sat here for a good five minutes trying to word that in a way that remotely makes any sense... I gave up and left it at that.

Sometimes it grants itself access or I inadvertently give it permission when I'm angry or listening to a song that provokes some feeling in me; I think pretty much any strong emotions can trigger a 'take over'.
When these happen it's not like a loose control it's more like an alternate personality which I can switch back and forth between at my leisure. (That makes me sound schizophrenic now...)

-And despite all that I try to maintain a normal appearance -at least on the surface, as I have not been diagnosed with any mental illnesses as of yet.  

I'm reasonably sociable and I don't bite  
And I'm just glad to have found a community which -for lack of a better excuse: has a lot of fox-people in because other places I've looked didn't have all that many... (Not that I don't mind the wolves and dragons and what have you but... I'm going to stop talking now  )

If I'll go hunt an animal it would be to use im to 100% for my own purpose

Fox minded fox or fox obsessed human. I am the latter, and as long as you are serious about learning and self discovery, I welcome you no matter what you are.

The strong will live on, and the weak will perish. Not much you can do about it either way. Even then there is nothing to apologize for, as we all have our own opinions.

Sounds like a "shared soul" or something esoteric like that. It could also be something as simple as separate personalities that your subconscious permits to "take over" to assist you with problems that your "normal" mental state cannot or will not handle effectively. I think it may be a mental adaptation to survive the modern world, as I have heard of a lot of these cases recently.

Like I said before, it could be another spiritual entity, or it could be alternate parts of yourself. It is something that you should try to find out. I have been trying for more than a year to figure out whether my internal voices are my own or something else, and I still don't know. I think the difficulty lies in creating the proper scientific scenario to test it.

That is okay, if I ever see a human that does not have a mental illness I will run away screaming. I don't think normal humans exist.

I'm glad about that but you never get a second first impression so I decided I would stay a little reserved as to how crazy I made myself sound

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I've met one other therian in real life -a wolf who I'm quite good friends with now but he tends to hang out on a predominatly wolf-forum called "werewolf-cafe" so I felt a kind of inequality going on because he seemed to really fit in well in a place like that -so after finding this place I feel that the balance has been restored and hopefully I can fit in a little better here too!

well to be precise i listen pagan metal, folk metal, melodic death metal and these 3 mixed up ! it need to have a structure and being melodic. nothing like trash or industrial metal

i love the mixing of folk instrument flute violin and electric guitar/base and ambient sound
