Yeah I believe they do too Gold, it is what's most fair and right... so she could be here around us. However, Salem is right, someone like her wouldn't have what to do on such a plane. She is likely at a much higher level today, though she could come here if she is bored or something maybe. Not sure what someone like her would be busy with today if I wonder :)

This makes me wonder about planes once again though... what is this reality different with and why does it exist the way it does? Is it something that must be passed to get to a "higher level" or something? Should make another topic for this soon maybe.

Quote from: "GoldKitsu"

Actually I meant it that way to an extent.  Too much of it is bad and unhealthy but if it's the same damn thing every day without any turmoil for months on end I start to get even more depressed.

Understood.  Yeah, monotony is just as bad.  I guess, for me at least, constant or at least occasional changes in life are needed, whether that change comes through conflict or simply from a re-examination of life.  Otherwise life can get stale and one can start getting on self-destructive tendencies.

And in Tamamo-san's case, I do agree that more details are necessary to judge anything, particularly someone's character.  We are not one-dimensional creatures of good or evil, despite what Noh dramas and folk literature tell you.  I wonder where exactly people are getting all of their info that they judge her on, how they know what her character is and what she spends her time doing.  I know she ran around Asia for a while, had some fun, some people died for better and worse, and regrettably (in my opinion) a lot of conflict was caused as a result and for that reason, people have made unnecessary judgments on her and others.

Hyper
I think we should not so much be focused on the heroes or vilians of the past, but rather focus on what will be. Should a change of major scale happen now there would be new celebrities giving birth to new legends, no?
 ^_^
Of course we can still learn from the deeds of the ones of the past though.

@Salem:  So, you and your lady are allowed to just say when someone's time is up and then carry out the death sentence?  It seemed to me like only the gods were allowed that priviledge.  We're kitsune, not shinigami or omikami.  We don't have the right.
