After much coxing from my friend on this forum board, I've finally joined and posted. Sadly I'm not a fox, the general conclusion that my group of friends have come to is that the only thing i can possibly be is a cat. I have no proof that i can think of and would welcome any possible help I could get to delve deeper into this.

    Ummmm... thanks in advance?

Being a cat is fine too. Hello  Wink
    Logged

I was looking up as I was walking home and just realized how... huge everything is, everything but us, we're so small. But yet... I could almost feel it, the spark of life, the thread of fate, a bit of electric sizzle in the stars. I was reminded of death, and thereby of life. I felt alive. I think maybe, if I can just feel that for a moment every now and then, anything else that happens to me is O.K.

Any reason why your friends think you must be a cat? Remember that behavior does not always give the right clues.

    Bonjour, and welcome.

Ahh but remember that Foxes are part of the Canine family, it seems to me that they have the Attributes of both cats and dogs in equal proportions.

Anyways, welcome to the boards. I'm a neophyte myself and I know several people who's spirit animals are cats as well as a Furry. Don't know of any celestials or otherkin that deal with cats specifically but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying yourself on here.

So, you have finally introduced yourself! I told you it would be fine.  Smiley Kitsune wouldn't just pounce on you without good reason, after all. Perhaps spending some time here will clear up any misconceptions/preconceptions about us. You may come to truly know us and our nature and eventually find yourself as a result. It is as the others have said, there is nothing wrong with being a cat, if that is what you are. Maybe that's just what you've been lead to believe. Your nature could actually be that of a kitsune and all you ever needed to become aware of that fact may have been a mere push in the right direction. Sometimes, if you're too focused on something, you can get tunnel vision and prevent yourself from opening up to other possibilities. I hope you enjoy it here. If your true nature should be that of a kitsune, may it awaken within you. If you come to find that you are indeed a neko, then walk as one as you continue to learn about yourself. We could possibly learn much from one another. I shall walk with you regardless, if you would only walk with me in return. We can find our paths together.

Destiny isn't a prize for you to seek. Destiny is something you claim when the opportunity presents itself.

    Goseiko wo inorimasu! Ganbate, tomodachi!
    fox_okay
You're really into japanese, are you?
But really, there's such a thing as overdoing it, and doing it wrong while you're at it.
For example it's "o" not "wo", and the correct grammar would most likely be "ni", and I have no idea who Goseiko is. It's got to be a name since it's not a japanese word. Also "Ganbate" is written "Ganbatte" and "Ganbatte, tomodachi!" is not correct japanese grammar.
     Huh?
That probably came across a bit harsh. So my apologies for it.

Meh, I don't claim to actually know Japanese, I just like to toy with it. I take no offense from the "harshness" of your post. There is nothing to apologize for. I make mistakes in my native language all the time. I've never had great verbal skills. I would love to learn Japanese but I suppose this is what I get for assuming something is correct and copying it from another website.

Do you study Japanese? If so, for how long? If not, where did you obtain your technical knowledge?

I do not offend so easily. It takes a great deal of effort to upset me. My friends have even said I have infinite patience. My question to you is: Why so negative? If there is something wrong or you are not feeling well, perhaps we can discuss it. We are here to help each other, are we not?

I've been studying japanese for two years now. And I think it's actually a nice language, so I don't like to see it shredded to pieces like that.

Yeah, I got it. Our grammar does not apply to the language and visa versa. I think Japanese is a great language, and like I said I would like to learn it.
