Windows 7 is very good (has everything Vista has + more + works and is as good and stable as XP... possibly more). I would warmly recommend it to everyone, I already have it set up on all computers & laptop Smiley

WIN 7 is like WINXP but for newer computer Wink my 2004 Pentium 4 3Ghz HT with 1Gio DDR2 RAM wont be able to run it efficiently
and anyway the only thing i need its DIABLO, Hamachi, MSNMSGER, Firefox µTorrent iTune and PhotoShop

When I come across a discussion of something I know little about I pick out two or three key-seeming terms and wiki them. Usually my understanding of the subject improves, even if only enough that I'm not totally lost. It's a great way to pass the wee hours of the morning when one can't sleep.

I would try that... but I wouldn't know where to start... and it's not as if I have much trouble sleeping or a lack of anything to do -I just feel that if I tried to learn all of this technical jargon I'd end up in over my head, it'd take me ages and I'd lose a part of what made me me! -Being technologically ignorant  :P

Sad But... but that's the best part... That is, getting lost looking up things mentioned on a page you went to look up in the first place, until you suddenly realize three hours have passed!

It may not be as "official" as wikipedia, but you can get lost at everything2 the same way. I never knew so much about the Amiga!

I guess the browser detection is relatively recent...
I was just messing with it before, changing my user agent with a  addon for seamonkey (my secondary browser) ...I'm pretty sure it works for firefox as well.

Right now, I'm posting as googlebot, but with the description changed to Robot.

alright, I can say I'm pretty familiar with how this works now...

For anyone interested in using the addon I'm talking about,
Changing the user agent data will modify what browser it sees. For example:
    googlebot: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
    msnbot: msnbot/1.1 (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)

if you change parts of it, the script on this site may recognize a little bit, but it's not like you can get it to say anything you want. An example of this is my previous post where I used the user agent data: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Robot; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
The output was not my text, but instead "Mozilla Compatible". If there isn't anything compatible, it simply shows "Unknown". If you just want to change your OS, you can do so under the platform area. If you want to hide your browser/OS completely, just change everything to the text "Unknown" or leave it blank - nothing will be displayed under your avatar.

I doubt that was helpful to anyone, but who knows~
