I've always had a link to Kitsunes. I think they are fasinating creatures and i feel like a have some sort of bond or link. I know for sure that i am a Dragon, no doubt about it. But i still feel like i am connected to the Kitsune. When i was younger i would have dreams about a white Kitsune visiting me at night, and the Kitsune would drop a little ball of shiny energy down in my chest. I decided to search about Inari and found out that Inari's messangers are snow white Kitsunes. I have no idea what it means, and it makes it more confusing because i am a Western and not a eastern type of Dragon.

Do you have any thoughts about this?

From the little information you did provide, it seems like you have more of an infatuation than an actual link to fox spirits.

inari loves all kin m'dear shi watches over even you
The funny thing about that is, Inari is only the goddess of rice and wealth. There are much more competent gods out there who can provide protection. Not saying Inari is incompetent or that I'm belittling her, I'm just throwing out a "fun fact." There are thousands of Kami and God/desses in Shinto and Buddhist mythology and each have their own "specialities."

Wrong forum rararararrararararargrr.

Also, I agree that Inari isn't the proper kami for everyone.  She works well with us because she's associated with luck as well, and because many farmers look to Her for help.  What do foxes do?  We kill mice and vermin that ruin crops, and we're associated with luck and cunning as well.

2+2=Myobu choose to serve Inari-sama as our kami following tradition after the first kitsune family was protected by her.

 Huh?
Red and blue corner, could you please dispute this vie PM or something?

Anyway, returning to topic.
I beleive that dragons and foxes are very much the same. Now, I do not really know what that means, but I feel it is right. So to say, Evans agrees with me. She is my zita, she who is with me in spirit at all times, she who is linked to me, wind-dragoness Evans. I myself chose to walk the path of the dragon when I was given the choice, but I also chose to become a fox.
 Wink
You wish to join me on my quest to find out just what that connection is? The connection that makes dragons and foxes 'very much the same'?

Kira, no because this is actually relevant. That, and we aren't even arguing anyway so kindly put a sock in it. :P

No one cares about your personal life, Spectra. And you completely ignored the question. What other purposes does Inari serve other than what Shintoism or Buddhism says?

So basically you don't have an answer then. Gotcha.
