Hi!

My first post was actually moved to personal experiences, as at the time i was trying to find out what shape my soul had taken. I was looking to kitunism (is that a word? it should be) for answers.

Well, Ive done some soul-search, meditations and have looked at other peoples experiences, and have identified myself as therianthrope, phenotype wolf. I know, cliche but I Know its right for me.

Why, you might ask, am i still here? signed up, even?
Because this forum is one of the friendlyest I've ever met, possibly because its new and all the role-players and meowers havent spotted it yet  :determined:

So there you have it. Here I am, a werewolf/shifter/therianthrope/lycanthrope.
Click on the link for a mine of information on therians/lycans etc if you like. Might save me explaining some! *toothy grin*

Hello and welcome :determined:

They're from Livejournal if I'm right. A smiley theme called "Oppium foxes" or something similar.

Welcome.

I'm not sure Kitsunism would be the right word or concept here.  This isn't a church or school of thought or even spiritual path, it's about spiritual awareness; identity, and awakening and realization of the self and one's nature.   The '-ism' suffix makes it sound like a belief or philosophy -- and being kitsune is neither - rather, it is a state of being.

Welcome.

I would say pretty much what already had been said by the above posters. Also, yes, the smilies are from LiveJournal, created by someone known as Opiummm. (The theme's name is something along the lines of "Opiummm's Foxies")

Thankyou once more for your welcome, and you are right: the -ism does make it sound kind of like a cult almost, and i have looked for a word which discribes 'the being of a kitsune.' I really think there should be one, because you have therian, lycan, shifter as casual names for different species, so does anyone know a term for being a kitsune?

Normally, the word Kitsune itsself is used for that term too.
