I found this yesterday while randomly browsing around Youtube and thought it's too interesting not to share. The documentary is called "Dragons, a fantasy made real" and was created by the team at Animal Planet. Many probably seen it already... I personally found it fascinating and it sparked me many thoughts while watching it.

IMPORTANT: Just so others don't make the same mistake I have... this video is a fictional film and not made over real facts. The story in it is purely fictional though the dragons presented there are made over real scientific beliefs so the way they are presented is likely close to reality (to me it's obvious dragons have existed in the past on Earth, I never doubted that). Apart from a few things I think what's presented there is very close to reality, even if this was created to be a fictional story.

So far I could only find this video on Youtube split in 10 parts. Here are the links: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10. I'd like to hear opinions and your thoughts on this as well Busy

The film isn't really based on scientific beliefs. It's based more on joint mythology from around the world. They're simply creating what they think a dragon would look like if they existed (based on studies of other reptilians and avians).

Anyway, I also found this film fascinating. I saw it on Discovery when it first came out and ordered a DVD copy of it. Considering I usually download movies instead of buying them, buying it says a lot (and I only buy films which I believe deserve the money).

The parts in the film I liked the best were when they explained how the "fire-breathing" worked and the free-fall flight during their mating ritual.
