+1. As I have previously mentioned I spoke with Charlie in person and he isn't that bad as everyone here seems to treat him as. I have told him he has done wrong to present his beliefs in such an RP-ish manner and that it's a very bad thing for a kin to present anything from an RP as a spiritual claim, and he understood. Charlie is still pretty new to kitsune and to making the difference between RP and spiritual, and instead of bashing him for it I believe we could try to help

I feel him to be spiritually kitsune, yes. 4 years ago when I just found out I was kitsune myself I qualified as rather an anime lover or a complete "dreamer" before I got to be so spiritual about being kitsune like I am now. Some of us rather sink into RP to find our kitsune selves and live as them from what I know, and even though I don't believe that's pretty helpful it doesn't make someone who doesn't understand the importance of being kitsune the way we do less of one

It has very little to do with belief. Bullshit is still bullshit no matter how someone like you tries to pretty it up and sweep it under the rug. Lies don't somehow become the truth just because you click your heels together and wish to be home.

This point is moot, spectra.  If we "adjust beliefs" to include every random thought that some random yiffbot presents, then this site will become a fansite, or a roleplay site, for the whole of kitsune fandom.  This will not happen.

I'm with Kuro on this. It is unfair and hypocritical to push the idea that we all have to change our own views to accept the views of others (especially those of a newcomer's). If we have to adjust our views so do they, and I think the people already in a place should not have to adapt to a newbie. The newbie should have to adapt to a place they are coming into.
