I'd say I was surprised not to find a poll concerning the number of tails of the board population in here, but I think it'd sound wierd coming form someone who's been on here since the very beginning.

As far as I know, two. At least that's what I can sort of feel. But the entries I posted here(the first place I thought of when I woke up) were lost. It's a bit fuzzy now.

Irrelevant and uncertain in that I don't want to answer anymore what I think of my tail count.  I feel like I have more but don't want to talk to lots of people of it.

Hmm...

7, some say, is the number of spirit, or essence.  A very non-physical number.  For some reason that tail count never made sense to me - or rather, for no reason, I suppose.

Of course, a statistician would be tearing their hair out over the accuracy of this poll, but I digress.

I am curious - and more so as there are a few numbers of 'metaphorical significance' (7, in particular) that have received low numbers in this poll - what are your views, all, on the 'significance' of the number of tails you have?  Do you think it hierarchical?  Or does this number have a special, symbolic significance to you?  A good thing to keep in mind may be a time you can recall when you 'gained' a tail - or when you 'discovered' your tails.  Was there something you learned when you gained this tail?  This question is especially addressed to those with a multiple tail count (but by no means you only) - I know some of you have said that you were only conscious of 'some' sf your tails at points in your life - I would love it if we could discuss what the personal meanings of our different tail counts are, to you, as a fox/person/soul.  Without getting too personal, of course.


BTW Kira - you forgot the numbers 1/2, 1000, 10,000, and 0  :D.

As I said for the beginning, I have one ~ or hope to ~ and that is already enough.
I also made the bet that If anyone turns out to have more than that number, I'd bite each of my tails the count I was off.

I have 8 tails myself, I checked a few years back and had 7 then last year I gained my 8th tail sometime in August.  Found all that out through quite a bit of meditation.

It's funny how most people who have more than a few tails seem to know NOTHING, where as people with a lower tail count are more apt to have actual knowledge (the only exception I've seen being Miss Kirara).
