[Sirus]

Although ill probably be called a fanboy, Spiritually i feel a mix of both hedgehog and Dragon. Although my drawings are based on Sonic style hedgies, thats about as far the simularities end. Im not sure about the dragon part though, im not so in touch with it, as if it dosnt want me to know something.

Hedgehog. I haven't seen one of those around before (well, outside of reading fictionkin communities to tell you the truth). Heh, I used to want a hedgehog as a pet - then found out how much they cost. XD About the whole seeming like Sonic style thing - it really might just be a matter of interpretation. That's pretty much the only series around with anthropomorphic hedgehogs, and if you're one to imagine yourself in an "anthro/furry" form, there's definite possibility for bias.

As for Dragon, I know you haven't said much about it, but what kind of dragon? Eastern? Western? Something else? You said you weren't much in touch with it, so have you considered it might be a totem (if dragons can be totems, that is)?

So...how did you come about finding this out about yourself? I'm sure a lot of people here would be interested in hearing that.

Edit: Not like I'm asking you to tell us absolutely everything. Just what you're comfortable with.

How do you associate yourself with a hedgehog? I'm just now looking for my animal and I'm interested in your line of thinking.

Well it is common for dragons in mythology to be secretive and reserved. But my understanding of therianism is that your animal is part of you. I don't think being dragon would cause you to hide things from yourself. I could be wrong- maybe you're a multiple and one doesn't trust the others?

Perhaps you're just hedgehog with a connection to a dragon somehow? Like a familliar or guide.

Well i have always been a spiritulist, but the first spirt that spoke to me was in the form of a humanoid with Quills, and it returned to me many times to guide me in moments where i needed it. Sort of like a spiritual guide. The connection i felt between it and myself was on pa with the connection i get between my parants and i. With much meditation (almost 5 days worth) i  seeked to see my own Spirit, although the image was no where near as clear as that of the spirit who confronted me, it did seem the same. (this is also the Bases of my Rp Character Sirus just altered for Rp). I dont imagine myself in an anthro furry form but spiritully in a form that is similure to it. When meditating however i do think i sense the quills on my back because i get feelings of uncomfort in areas of my back that dont exsist. But again they are not quills like that of Sonic, they are alot more similure to the ones you would see on a common day hedgehog, just more suited for a human form.
The Dragon part of things comes from something else when in seach of my own Spirit. My Spirit itself was calm and placid much like myself. But it seemd to be surrounded by an energy that feels anciant, and it burns quite vividly yet it felt almost honourable, or proud. Also i have been told my temper when i do lose it is like crossing the path of a dragon. ^^;

Oddly enough, there -IS- a type of 'Porcupaine style 'Itachi' in Japan. more or less, a humanoid Porcupine. fortunately for the Kemono Youkai, there's a multiverse of different animal types. Not just the 'predator' types, but the 'prey' types as well. We're just so wonderfully mixed. >^.^< I forget the name for right now, but maybe this may be of use to you. I'd look into it. They say they are excellent archers. Since i've never met one, I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it.
