So a thought because of a conversation i had with another.  Is the current Inari the same as the original?  Is it more of a position or is it a person?   If it's a position how many have already filled the role?

Inari-SAMA is a Goddess; She doesn't change.  Her REPRESENTATION changes as Her court does, and the amount of people who have been representative of Her is as vast as the amount of droplets in the sea.

no offense kuro, but you sound like one of those christian people who keep imposing 'god' on other people and correcting everyone everytime they dont capitalize 'god'. i think all that thats going to do is make people ignore you.

i dont know much about inari-sama but i dont really see too much difference from the original image of her, unless i missed something...

I think I've heard of the term "one's own Inari" somewhere before. If that's the case, Inari is always changing.

You do make your own relationship with Her.  What She stands for, and who She is immortally, however, is unchanging.

Umm, my response was definitive.  I explained to you the ways in which She DOES change and told you that for the most part she DOES NOT.  It in NO WAY was cruel, malicious, or off-topic.  Your bad karma is solely founded on the basis that I'm providing fact that you don't like.  And if that's not it, then you just sincerely dislike me, and in that case, bring your problems to me, don't just hit the "I HATE KURO GRAWL" button.  kthx.

Actually, I just said the fact you said it's definitive doesn't make it so, I also didn't give you negative Karma on you for it.  I hit the negative karma button only for lulz posts.   I want to see what other people think on that topic, does everyone else think it's definitive?  I don't.

Kuro, most people are likely voting the bad karma for your older posts where you said mean things. Many users are still probably reading them for the first time now... it's only been a few hours but I'm glad if you are willing to stop making them. If you read this please don't vote bad karma for Kuro's older posts either and try give him a chance now.

As for lady Inari, I for one like her and believe she is a good goddess but didn't research a lot about her sadly so I can't say much here. Just hope modern religion didn't mock her as well and wrote all kinds of lies about her like about many things

The simple answer is easy: nobody knows.

We go into immutable vs. mutable.  Everything changes and ends.  Thus whoever is Inari currently will not be holding the position forever regardless of name, that can change.  Maybe it will end after he/she quits or another will come, with their own name.  Or will take that name.
