I have three tails. One normal, one with a parasite, and one hidden. I don't want to reveal it, because I want to show 4,6,8,10? tails at once :3

I will.  You're claiming to be a GOD if you show any more than 9.  It's an utterly pretentious, blasphemous show of arrogant power to even create the illusion that you have more.  None of us are gods, we are merely messengers and spirits.  Anyone who claims otherwise will have an argument with me through more than just verbal means.

A very angry and violent reaction, most likely, from many of our kin.  Even if you have the power, knowledge, age to reach 10, you have 9, and if you show more, you're in great peril.  Tamamo-no-mae was rumored to show Her "full" tail count, and look at what happened to Her (though that was the least of the reasons why She met Her unfortunate end.)

Hmmm, though that would just lead to a war against that person and depending on a lot of things.  A major war between factions.  A lot who could show that many would probably have a lot of backers and the idea of starting a war with lots of suffering over that would be silly.
