Greetings, all. I'm sure most of you don't know me, but I do recognize a couple familiar faces. *waves to Salem and aaarhus*

I go by Teja. I'm here because I'm always on the hunt for intelligent kitsune discussion, and this looks like an interesting place. I identify as a three-tailed myobu and am very dedicated to Inari; however, that doesn't mean I'm a goody-two-shoes (not all the time, anyway :P). As far as spirituality is concerned, I'm on a Pagan path of my own making that is heavily influenced by Shinto.

So yeah. I'm not too good at rambling about myself in introductions, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Namaste! I'm not Kitsune myself but serious discussion is why I'm here too. Looking forward to a few with you.

I'd like to hear more on that. I tried something like that once but I just really didn't have the experience.

I was looking up as I was walking home and just realized how... huge everything is, everything but us, we're so small. But yet... I could almost feel it, the spark of life, the thread of fate, a bit of electric sizzle in the stars. I was reminded of death, and thereby of life. I felt alive. I think maybe, if I can just feel that for a moment every now and then, anything else that happens to me is O.K.

Samui: Hey there! I believe I recognize you from elsewhere - were/are you a member of TO?

Taoki: Thank you for your kind words. :]

Seeker: Sure. Anything in particular you'd like to know more about? I understand what it's like to have a lack of experience in spiritual matters; I still have a long way to go myself. But we all have to start somewhere, and the nice thing about learning is that it's an incredible journey.

I do have an account, but I haven't been there lately.

What I post may only be what I believe at the time. Little on this topic I can say that I actually know. However, I will try to sound decently intelligent and to not pull stuff out of thin air. Do you care? Probably not, but sometimes I like disclaiming myself, even if it's unneccessary. I also like to ramble on about things a lot.

Samui: That's what I thought, although yeah, it's been a bit dead lately. All the same, nice to see another name I recognize.

Shiori: Thank you, and I'm glad I could help you out as well. :]

Aine: Thanks, I do already!

Lieka: I identify as a wolfdog therianthrope myself, so it's cool there's someone else of a lupine persuasion here. :3

Salem: I am too - thanks for pushing me to join. ;P

Huh, you identify as a wolfdog and a three tailed myobu?

Yeah. They're both distinct facets of myself, i.e. I don't identify as some kind of kitsune/canine hybrid or anything strange. The wolfdog therianthropy is just another layer of who I am as a person, if that makes any sense.

Anyways I think making your own path is a whole lot better than any other options.

After years of struggling with organized religion, I'm inclined to say the same. :]

Yeah... I mostly believe its possible to be any kind of creature and combination. Though becoming one would contradict the theory that you cannot change what you are as a spirit, and that wouldn't be really good if it was possible. You could also have multiple spirits in the same body, though I'm really not sure how that goes exactly.

The problem is that while on this world, it can very difficult to know exactly what you are. Sometimes you feel like a certain creature... then after that like something else... I'm not completely sure if that could be shifting or just plain confusion while here, but it would be interesting to know.

Oh and that avatar is really cute ^_^

Within reason, I suppose. As long as somebody can offer fairly rational, well-thought explanations in support of their identity, then I have no problem with it.

I don't know the mechanics of it either, but I do know a couple multiples, so it is possible.

Well, in reference to what you said before about not being able to change one's spirit, there are some people out there who believe the soul is formless - that's not necessarily my own view, though. Also, we are dynamic beings who grow and change throughout our lifetime, so it's not so shocking that some people go through changes in even their non-human identity. Most often, however, I would say it's just confusion; it's frustratingly hard to quantify and articulate 'kinhood sometimes.

Hey there, welcome to the boards.
