Well, I guess we need a Family Discussion board, for things about our family itself, like if someone is sick and needs help, if someone needs to tell something important MEMBERS ONLY, if someone needs attention and many other subjects. I guess that this, that is the more important, shouldn't have left behind...

Quite. For example, what family are you talking about, Elmind? Your wolf cubs? Or Alynna + Kuro + tons of adopted kids? Oops, I mean kits.
If you mean the latter, I certainly don't count myself inside that boundary.

No, I mean that we are a family here... At least, I see people here as my family... So, in a family, a lot of things happens, things that we don't want anyone but the family to know about....

I cannot say whether they love you or not, Elmind, but, I feel I must add this - if they really did not love you...well, at least be thankful you are not being abused (unless you are and do not choose to say, in which case, I wish there were something I could do). If they care enough to take care of you, that means a lot, I think.

Although I must say, being misunderstood and repressed isn't exactly great either. And if you're wondering why I brought up abuse - it's because it's a problem that's far too common, not because I'm a victim.

That too yes, if you want to put it that way. But like Elmind says, many of us are already a family here. And of course not everyone here must consider theirselves part of the family. Some just come here to talk and discuss the subjects of course. Elmind meant for those who do.

Why don't you spend some time with your _real_ family that loves you?

*nods* I can't really see how someone who is a different kin then you can be your real family. Alynna and the others are my real family, and my natural kitsune mother, not someone from a different kin who got me born here for one life. A real family is one who you feel for as a family, not necessarily the two people who throw your soul in a physical body here.

And this is a view I have on my own about it, so you don't think someone here brainwashed me into thinking that like some tend to think about us. I think this all by myself since a long time ago.

I think its a good idea to be able to create a thread where only certain members are allowed; a friends thread. I think it's a good idea; whether this is what Elmind was meaning, I don't know!

I think Salem thinks it's absolutely ridiculous that you either A. disregard your human family, B. Consider each other family despite only knowing each other online and even then not very well, or C. Both.

I won't state my opinion on that matter now. Although I think the whole family thing...well, to be members and to be family are two different things, that's for sure.

Yeah... that makes sense. Indeed, I refuse any kind of family tie to the people who gave me life here, for the simple reason they are not kin and we are too different. *shrugs* maybe I'm just being crazy... I even told them to stop calling theirselves my parents because it annoys me, but nothing more.

I personally think, though identifying with your spiritual family is important, it's also very important that you identify with, I dunno, the people who made it possible for you to exist in this world.  Sure, they may be "only" human (which is stupid, because you are, too, for at least another 4 years), and they may edge you up occasionally.  NEWSFLASH: EVERY family does.  These people are the ones that are gonna be providing you with physical and emotional support more than anyone else.  To forsake them just because you aren't the same as them is just.....I dunno what it is.  Not retarded, because that's slander towards the mentally handicapped.  It's just base foolishness.
