Hello. Call me what you like. I am an 18 year old, semi-transgendered therian. I currently believe myself to be lion, but have questioned wolf, and other canids as well, including fox/kitsune due to some rather interesting past "expressions".

As for my reason believing myself to be a lion, I see my reflection as a lion in meditations quite often. In fact, that is almost always what I see. I have been seeing this for two years, now. I also used to draw myself with a lion's tail when little, and now when I research lions, I fit quite a few of the behavioral patterns that they display.

Wolves on the other hand, I am quite connected to. I also have researched them, and also display quite a few of their behaviors. The difficulty with this, you see, is that lions and wolves may behave very similarly, as they are both large carnivores.

As for my question about kitsune. There was a time I felt I was "fox" and sometimes still can see that in me. I do not see myself as a fox in meditations, but I do sometimes "feel" it, which adds to the confusion. I do remember often picturing myself, when I was very young, as a red fox with many tails (I do not remember the exact number).  I also looked through a couple of posts, and could see how kitsune might fit, I do have that "spiritual wisdom" in some case. When I was little, I would often find myself reciting things such as, "Everything is connected through energies" and "The body is like a house for the soul" when I had never even heard these phrases before.

I apologize if I sound a little...well, disorganized. I've had my share of confusion in the past. I feel very animal, and very "non-human" as in not the typical person, as I know full well that we are all humans, but I am very generic in feeling, so it's difficult to pinpoint these things exactly. Plus, I feel my soul/mind may be a bit polymorphic (although I believe therianthropy to be mostly mental). It's almost as if my energies can change with ease.

I also consider myself a psychic vampire, I believe I am at least, since I seem to have difficulty going without energy, and I have heard many say I "tire them out" when I walk in the room, especially if I seem tired. Feeding helps, if I remember to do it, that is.

Anyway, as for my interests, I like all the ologies, artistic things, the spiritual, so on. My religion was originally Judiasm, but I am now converting to Christianity, even though some of my beliefs are more Shamanic, or Shinto.

Haha, no, no got to catch 'em all at all. I honestly think I'd be most comfortable only calling myself ONE thing. However, I want to make sure that I am not a polytherian, and if I am, I believe I'd only be two things. In my humble opinion, it would get a tad chaotic being three. Mostly what I'm trying to do is rule things in or out right now. I've been around the community for a long time, and I generally know my stuff.

As for the tails being a fluke? It's possilble. I'm known for my imagination, so when I was little especially I came up with alot of unusual things.

Hello! You sound really interesting. I look forward to getting to know you. It sounds like you've given your situation alot of thought, and have some fresh ways of loking at things.

I've had something like this happen to me too, a couple of times. I'd like to hear more about this in particular.

I'm a therian wolf (mainly), and I'd be happy to share thoughts on behavioural things.

I also have psychic vamp tendancies, being able to draw energy from people (not animals), the moon and the wind, and gather warmth from the sun using the same methods. I am still deveolping this, and so thats another talking point!
