    Hello.
    So, I guess this is supposed to be my introduction. I'm not great at them, but here we go, regardless...

    My online handle varies from place to place, but as far as things here go, I'll be Flaw. I picked up the name about 4 and a half years ago during a very depressive time in my life, and I chose it as at the time - I felt as if I were the (non-literal) personification of human error. In the years since then, I've changed a lot and the name doesn't necessarily suit me as well anymore, but it still holds some slight meaning to me, and that's why it sticks.

    You're not here to read about my name, though.

    I've come to this forum for three distinct reasons: the first, because my close friends Arishi, Ivy Kirax, and my boyfriend SwooshyCueb are all here. The second, is to learn more about what all of 'this' is. Otherkin is still very new to me, and I only know small, basic things. I don't see myself as ever being an otherkin, or anything else, but I have an interest in these sorts of things to say the least. My third reason is to (hopefully) get to know some new people and make friends.

    This will sound bold, but I say this with meaning: I am not ignorant. I am also one of the most tolerant people you will likely ever meet, and above all, I don't judge others for what they believe just because it may or may not conflict with my own beliefs.

    For several years, I've called myself an Atheist, mostly due to my extreme distaste for organized religion - the reasons for which don't belong in an introductory post - and recently, I've decided to drop that title from myself. I still do not believe in any single 'architect' deity, but I've come to believe in something more along the lines of personal religion and the pursuit of balance and inner-peace. This is called secular spirituality. I'm still window shopping within that for an exact philosophy to follow, but the likelihood is that I will end up declaring myself a secular buddhist, as I agree with many of the basic principles and philosophies of buddhism, but not in its' deities and incense, so to speak.

    I'm not here to stake claims, nor to stir the pot. In coming here I'm only looking for education and community.

    Seeing the world through one's own eyes.
    Prefering to walk through fields and woods instead of walking the paths that millions of people have travelled before.
