I am SwooshyCueb, and I'm just here for the food and the cute emoticons.  Nerdy

But in all seriousness, I have a couple of friends here (Arishi and Ivy Kirax), and I think this whole kitsune/otherkin thing is quite interesting and not too unbelievable.

I am a remixer and a gamer, and I occasionally run a gaming stream over at http://ocularraindrop.net/swooshalicious/ . I used to publish my mixes to last.fm, but I decided to move to another service. I have not decided where, though.

I'm also apparently the only open-minded Christian on the planet, as I see how all this could fit in with my beliefs. To be more specific, I'm Episcopalian, and, don't worry, I'm not here to convert anyone, 'save' people, or 'spread the light'.

Before you ask, I am not a kitsune, otherkin, or anything else like that. I am not a furry, though I consider myself part of the fandom, as I post many of my mixes on FurAffinity, and many of my friends (as well as my boyfriend) are furries.

    SO!
Any questions? I don't usually do introduction threads, so I'm sure I missed something.

I'll go ahead and warn you, I have a reputation for being violently active in a forum then randomly abandoning it for no reason after a few months. I hope I don't end up doing this here.

Ahh, yess, I made that in Jasc Animaiton Shop. An amazing program. Too bad Corel discontinued the program when they bought Jasc.

Be careful with being an open minded Christian, it can quickly slip into full atheism, or worse!

I became Ignostic after 20 Christian (Nazarene / Baptist) years of opening my mind too much and looking at the subject logically, since I had zero proof of any god or God. I consider Ignostic as the state of insufficient evidence or proof to even define what God/god actually is, much less believe in him/her/it/they.

I think there may be more powerful / "higher" level beings that we consider as gods, but actually had nothing to do with creating the universe. If you wish to discuss religion you can start a topic in the part of the board so I don't completely mess up your intro page.

Whoops, did not mean to derail your intro, I'll stop now. Welcome!

     :D

    (Added later, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)

TBH, believing that there is a God who has put everything into place for a reason (even though I may not know what that reason is), is part of what has kept me from losing my grip on my sanity. But, as you said, this discussion belongs in the religion section of the forum. I may start a thread later.
