    Hello everyone,
    You all can call me Kay, or Tsubaki... What ever you guys would like is okay with me. :D I'm 19 years old and I believe myself to be a 4 tailed kitsune.
     I came to the conclusion when I was about 16 years old. 2 years after I had actually awakened. You see... my awakening was a little odd to say that least. I never felt entirely human or comfortable in my own body. But when I first awakened I had NO idea what I was. I felt like many different animals at any given time. Sometimes it would be a wolf, or a dragon, or a hawk. I had so many parts of me that I felt like some type of spiritual Frankenstein monster.

    The thing about, all of my different theriotypes (the best word I can come up with for them right now) was that none of them really felt like me. None of them would "stick" except for one... and that was the fox. No matter what I was at any given time... sooner or later I'd go back to the fox again. And as time progressed, I felt more like a fox than anything else. It wasn't long before I finally decided to do research on kitsune in mythology. That's when things really started to come together. I read about the kitsune's ability to transform and now I believe that is what was going on with me. I would meet someone who was a dragon or any type of kin that I thought was interesting and I would unconsciously "transform" into that kin. After I understood it more I finally settled down. And here I am...

    Other than that I don't have much proof. I've never had a past life dream or memory. And I can't mediate very well. I have a very over active imagination, so when I try to calm my mind, it can only stay calm for about 10 minutes before my thoughts are bouncing off the walls again. So other than how I feel... I don't have enough validation. That's why I'm here. I want to learn more! I feel that if I can learn as much as I can through others experiences and knowledge. I might be able to learn more about myself. I've already learned so much from just lurking so I'm REALLY excited to be apart of the forums! So yeah... Here I am! Hajimemashite!     Kitsune are shapeshifters, so that's been a common problem among our kin. Once you realize who/what you are it gets easier.

    Azn It's very nice to meet you and to have a new member! I joined not that long ago, I think not even a month, and so far things have been great; I can't wait to see what new ideas and thoughts you have. We need more threads to talk about things in... <.< Though sadly some of the more awesome ones right now are so well thought out I don't have anything to add...

    A patchwork fox, huh?
    Sounds a lot like myself.
    I started as a fox, went around all sorts of species, but it always came back to fox.
    Until finally I decided to fully become a fox after reading about japanese fox lore for nights and somehow the spirits seem to have heared me, for after that I truly became a fox, so there's no doubt in my heart anymore about it.

    *happy sigh* I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one! In a weird way, knowing that gave me a little bit more validation. I know I'm definitely going to enjoy my time here! Yay!!
