I wanna know if this is just something odd about my taste in food, or if other people share this trait... I like food that's heavily spiced and flavored. I eat regular food, but when I make it myself I like to add all sorts of extra spices like cumin or curry powder.

Oh I love food. Italian, Chinese, Japanese, etc etc etc. Especially well done with exotic flavors. Spices, spicy, lathered in affection and well cooked.

    Food is <3

Azn Oh, thank the gods! A friend! *runs towards with open arms*

I'm a chubby little foxy loaf myself (if you've ever seen the Hokkaido Foxes on youtube, I look like that as a person), and I love food. The more layers of flavor the better.

It's funny you mentioned affection, though. My dad's girlfriend and I hated each other, and all of her food had this weird bitter aftertaste to it... Sometimes the whole dish was just terrible. Whenever she made spaghetti it had this taste to it I can only describe as "bile". It literally tasted like someone had eaten the whole pot and regurgitated it.

Haha. I'm not very chubby. But I'm a food connosieur. I love exotic tastes.

Ah, yes. Food without love is nasty. Bleh.

Oooh, yes... chicken. I love chicken, though I prefer dark meat to white meat... White meat is just too dry for me. I really like chicken marsala, even though I only had it once; the layers of flavor was just perfect, with the right amount of spicy that's a flavor spicy and not just a heat. Though I do love me some beef when I can have it, it feels like a nice little treat. Thick cut, teriyaki marinated, rare steak... *drool*

Azn Oh! How about inari-zushi? Has anyone ever tried it? I love sushi to death and I discovered it was on the menu. I remember being kind of scared to try it, because I was scared I wouldn't like it, and it's talked up all over kitsune lore as being their favorite food, but it's... delicious. All sweet and tangy, chewy and kind of soft... They're like little pillows of love.

It's pretty decent. Not my personal favorite, but I enjoy it all the same.

... Starting to doubt this really belongs in this section anymore... <.< And why did I think of myself flailing while falling dramatically as I wrote that? >.< Crap, I think I've warmed up to guys already, I'm being completely random...

I think it's kinda funny the agreement on chicken, though, since there are so many jokes about foxes in hen houses.

     Wink
Mhhh, I like Pizza. Used to have it on a daily basis.
And people tend to tell me I over-spice my food.
I like vinegar and salt too. Even eat salt war sometimes. =^,^=
     :P
And I've been cooking to myself for almost half a year now, and I do say it tastes nice. =^,^=

    >o< Ha! Takumi, I wish I could print that out and wear it on a hat!

Oh! And yeah, I get told I overspice things, too... at least by my former roommate/friend/sister. She loves my cooking, but monitors me when I'm adding spices. "What's that? What are you doing with it? Don't add too much!" "... Hunny, it's chervil and it's like parsley, I'm not adding much..."

I hated vinegar when I was younger, it burned at my nose and was just too sharp on my tongue, but now salt and vinegar potato chips are my favorite and I love balsamic!

Wow I must be like the only fox who doesn't like very spicy things lol

though that may change I do like myself some nice spicy chili but not much else right now.

Also, chicken is good but not my favorite... I prefer red beef and fish to chicken but I won't say no to chicken, certainly! ^^
