Here's a thought to put out there.
Do you think you were meant to find this book? Like destiny or something?
I've been looking into that stuff lately, figured I'd ask around.

I might be a fox. I might not. The important thing is I'm on my way to discovery. And no human can understand that.

I actually heard about and bought it a long while back.
Now... if this
one
guy was meant to find it (or if any of these people were meant to)... I don't know what to say there.

Recall person 3 from the list...
He had mentioned out of body experiences, like the white light and such... of seeing people in odd dress. Mentioning eyes as a window to the soul...
Speaking of souls he had said your soul is your shadow, that is what it looks like... the invisible man. The wrap on him is just so you can see him... the guy was saying the physical body is just that...
He said many times he knew something about me... eyes as a window to the soul, and that he had said people with squinting eyes like this (showing me, then returning to his normal expression), means they don't listen to people and are angry...
People with eyes like mine are the people he himself seeks to speak to.
Then... eyes that glance about on a statement... is a sign of lying. Just... it was so weird.

Well... I'm attempting to talk to Dad now.
Some people and sources raise the idea that... it could be something passed down in the family. So... I'm trying to talk to Dad about otherkin.
However, I only raised the idea of reincarnation and animals so far... sadly.

Just be careful, you know non-kins can give us lots of trouble for telling them something like this. But if your sure its ok then ask him.

Well, Mom is technically non-kin... and Dad is Dad.
Being family and if he is telling the truth... he might find it odd and disagreeable but I'm
still
his son.
I think he would only be disappointed that I never joined the air force.

Hehe...
And good luck! Again! In fact, good luck in all your exploits, just in case I miss one.

Well, I guess I post again on another update.
After I had given out holiday cards... I revisited one person at work I had asked about wanting to tell something personal to someone you would like to trust... but yet have a fear of what they might think.
She told me she was lesbian...
It sort of puts into perspective something though... the things we fear telling everyone else, it proves, can be seen as something not such a "large" deal to not talk about.
In fact... there's two people I tried to talk with at work.
There was one person that was overly Christian... claiming he did not have an interest in converting me
yet
would not let me get words in edgewise...
After trying for several days to ask questions... always having the discussion lead back to "this is my truth... and it's TRUTH" and "I hope you're right... because I know I am, and it's TRUTH"... I just finally told him.
He gave me the exact same speech... from the top... I counted it as done... and bid him farewell which was the only thing to make him stop...
I talked again with the one other person... I explained better in an e-mail, but she agreed on things and stated that... yeah... I was in that age group I guess that is exploring their own world. So... she's entirely ok with the idea. Still... not really any success of someone actually having some sort of information or something.
As for the guy with the book... still no book. He also spent one week not reading due to being busy or tired. It's all good. :3

Hmm. My Stepdad was a Navy SEAL. He's not really able to talk about it any more because of his PTSD, but when we first met he would tell me about alot of things. One of the things they teach you in the SEALs is to "hide in plain sight." In other words, If you wanted to read a certain book, about a certain topic that people would find weird, bring along a bunch of books on different things that kind-of relate to it. If asked by someone you don't want to share with, claim you're really looking into something in one of the other books, and that book mentioned the book you are reading now. I'll tell you something about people- they usually don't bother to look past their own nose. They'll just assume you're a bookworm.
This way you can read what you like, won't have to worry about people figuring out something you don't want them to, and if someone comes along you don't mind telling, you still can.

I was looking up as I was walking home and just realized how...
huge
everything is, everything but us, we're so small. But yet... I could almost feel it, the spark of life, the thread of fate, a bit of electric sizzle in the stars. I was reminded of death, and thereby of life. I felt
alive
. I think maybe, if I can just feel that for a moment every now and then, anything else that happens to me is O.K.

Well then.
It turns out the guy that borrowed my book only managed to read a full section on walkins, and then whatever happened to be before it I think... maybe just the walkins.
He was hopping around and it caught his attention in there.
He can't, however, read the book because he now has kids over at the house and one of them for just a moment got a hold of the book. From the sound of it nothing happened, but he is going to return it.
I talked to him about "myself" though... and he was understanding. He's got my e-mail... just no internet on his end quite yet. I guess... I'm disappointed he couldn't finish the book. I'll make an offer that he can read it like, during break or something at work or not...
Overall it could have very well been a success.
In fifteen minutes I explained the basic things... which... I had previously told him about the past eight years on a previous break a few weeks back. He's impressed that I actually moderate a forum...
It's a pity though. There was a slight chance at being a room mate with him... but he had plans for his girlfriend to move in already, so currently I'm still alone in my search.
