Well, I must say it's all been very interesting...

I've ordered the $300 book.
It should get here before the end of the month...

The things going though... at work, I've been talking about it, wondering if indeed I was in the right to buy it. People at work seem to think I should really do as I like... and I feel they're saying that as in my best interest.
I even got some help... talking to two people from one section of the store, they both said that I should get it... one of them I asked about advice for confronting Mom if she throws a fit... she said that I should say that I work and am making all these payments, never been late... and actually taking an initiative to pay something off early. I should say that I honestly deserve this book, and that it's my full right to buying it.

I just hope that Mom doesn't get upset to a point of either hurting herself (stress wise I mean), or at me and resulting with something drastic and childish.

What about anyone else...? Still looking or saving up? Waiting for the paperback?
I know I want the book... but what is everyone's opinion of what it says on kitsune?

Me personaly would not by some 300$ book because all that money could be used for other things like food and things you NEED. Not bying a book for that much money. but thats just me. And you could have saved that money for moving out *shakes head* like i said it's just me.

It's ok though...

My car will be paid off here in two years, and... I've actually got plans and such.

$300 is a lot, but the thing is, I technically spent $100, since I had returned my guitar that I never play.

Just to give an idea... the month I got my guitar I spent over $300. It's not going to be a crucial hit to myself... rest assured.
 :conf:

The way I see it though... I would have spent the money later on as well... if the $300 wasn't there, it's going to turn into a steady build up of $800 saved... and I'm sure people wouldn't agree with that here.
I hope that doesn't sound irritated though... I'm just explaining myself.

Here's how it eventually went down...

I took an opportunity while at the store for food with my stepfather to mention I bought the book...
"What book?"
The book.
"The $300 one...?"
Yes.
*sigh...*

Conversation then continues at my urging, with mention of not talking to me at night about such things... on paying my car and of other "life" matters.

At home... he figured out how much I should pay on the car to get the car paid off in ten months... and Mom had asked about all the money being figured, and I think said something about $300 "extra" in there, and he mentioned the book, which got her mad.

But... the golden words "what's done is done" came up, we all raised our voices about deadlines and such... and now we shall spend the rest of the day now that all "seriousness" is out of the way on rented movies and to just unwind.

No more mention of the book to them... and I'm sure they'll only shake their heads again once it's here. But, issue is resolved, I have the book coming... all is good and settled now.

On another note, the $800 copy is gone...? There is now a $500 on Amazon.
